Recycling Services
Construction Waste Recycling
At KMAC Greenworks we are able to recycle most (if not all) of the debris that is generated on your construction or demolition site. We provide the container and you load it with all of your construction and demolition debris. It is then hauled to our Material Recovery Facility in North Birmingham where the materials are sorted, processed, and condensed to be delivered for re-use or re-manufacturing. For the past 12 years KMAC Greenworks has been a pioneer in the construction waste recycling field. We remain committed to providing industries in the Metro Birmingham Area with economical solutions to their waste problems and look forward to being your partner in sustainable building practices.
Materials that can be recycled: wood, concrete, asphalt, tile, pallets, cardboard, plastics, paper, and metals. Some forms of sheetrock, carpets, and ceiling tile waste may also be recycled.
LEED Projects
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, we are an active participant in the green building program known as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Our staff is able to assist you in determining the most efficient methods of recycling your construction waste materials in order to generate the maximum number of LEED credits for your project. Some of our past LEED projects are Homewood Middle School, Hilltop Montessorri School at Mt. Laurel, and the Brasfield and Gorrie Birmingham Office Expansion.
Roll Off Services
KMAC Greenworks offer our customers 20, 30, and 40 yard roll off containers. We guarantee to service the container within 24 hours from the time you call us requesting a pick up. We are also able to accomodate jobs requiring multiple deliveries each day. We do not charge any fuel surcharges and have no hidden fees on our invoice.
