The Greenworks Promise
In a world of diminishing resources, we provide our clients with sustainable and environmentally friendly building materials and industrial waste recycling services. We see beauty and possibility in historic mills and buildings slated for demolition.
In our view, adhering to a responsible cause is one of the foremost business models to successfully guide companies well into the 21st century.
History
We started in reclaimed materials industry in 2003 with our first deconstruction project of the Springs Mill in Lancaster, SC.
KMAC Greenworks is a division of KMAC Services that was created by Robert Klinner and Tim McCollum in 1985. KMAC Services is an industrial recycling company focused on the re-manufacture and re-use of industrial byproducts such as: plastics, rubber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, coal and coke, paper, and cardboard.
Over the past five years we have built Greenworks on providing homeowners, builders, designers, and architects with sustainable building products in the form of hardwood flooring, beam and timber work, brick, and stone but the products don’t end there. We use our reclaimed wood to build one of a kind distressed furniture pieces.
We invite you to come see our warehouse. It will certainly be worth your time. We invite people to come to get ideas on how to completely customize your next project with a piece of history, not to mention it’s all GREEN.
